Welcome to another new year, 2011 so the calendar says. Well, to start this year off as we mean to go on, we've doubled our development resource in a bid to push out all our new ideas in double quick time*, and also fix some of the outstanding bugs. So today, we're now shipping 2.2 (r2). This is a minor, but recommended, update that fixes a couple of issues with the backup and restore, specifically issues surrounding a restore to a newer operating system i.e. backup from Windows XP and restore to Windows 7.
If you're already using file@home 2.1 and higher, you'll be prompted about the new version when you next start the program. If you're not, you can download the latest installer from the
download page.
